Short Arm Of Law In Livingston: Kids' Police Academy Signups Start For Summer
Need an engaging summer activity for your kids in Livingston? The Junior Police Academy takes kids entering grades 6-8.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Junior Police Academy will return to Livingston this summer, a fun week of education with a police academy format.
Signups begin March 1 and are limited to the first 70 kids to register.
The curriculum will include various presentations from guest law enforcement agencies, field trips, hands-on activities, and physical training to give the recruits an idea of what is involved in becoming a police officer.

All applicants must be Livingston residents who are entering sixth, seventh, or eighth grade in the fall of 2022. There will be a $100 fee charged per attendee.
The program will run from July 11 through 15 from 7:45 a.m. through 4 p.m. each day.

Applications close on April 29, but again, the class will be limited to 70 students, so register early.
Applications and information can be picked up in the lobby of the Livingston Police Department or found online at livingstonnj.org/1384/Junior-Police-Academy.
