Do you want your small business to be successful? Of course! Livingston Library is one of several libraries around the state to team up with the New Jersey Division of Taxation to hold a “Taxation University” Small Business seminar.
“For decades the Library has provided business and finance books and magazines for individuals and small business and entrepreneurs. Databases were added in the past 15 years, and this program is another resource,” said Librarian John Sitnik. “Small business owners, or someone thinking about starting a business, are invited to attend this free program, conducted by staff from the New Jersey Division of Taxation.”
Topics will include developing a business plan, licensing and registering a business, employee tax withholding requirements and more. Free resources from the Small Business Development Centers, SCORE, and the Small Business Administration will also be mentioned.
