Smash-And-Grab Burglary In Livingston Leaves Door Shattered: Police
Someone shattered the glass door at a local business during a "smash and grab" burglary in Livingston, authorities said.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — Someone shattered the glass door at a local business during a “smash and grab” burglary last week in Livingston, authorities announced Tuesday.
The Livingston Police Department released the following details about the burglary:
“On June 5 at 4:35 a.m., Livingston officers responded to Duet Inc, 79 S. Livingston Avenue on a report of an activated burglar alarm. Upon arrival, officers observed the rear glass door was shattered and further investigation revealed that the actors had fled the scene prior to police arrival.”
The total amount of merchandise stolen is unknown at this time. The Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating the burglary, authorities said.
