Snapshot: Welcoming the New Year 5771

Temple B'nai Abraham Religious School Director Janet Resnick is shown teaching incoming Aleph students Evan Marcus, Matthew Gershman, Sarah Gershman and Rachel Kurtz how to blow the Shofar (ram's horn) to herald in the Jewish High Holy Days, which begin on Wednesday, September 8.

Students attended an orientation class to begin their religious education at the temple.  They were given a tour of the building and prepared to begin classes the week of September 13.
