Livingston, NJ - Saint Barnabas Medical Center (SBMC) has announced that Livingston residents Bruce and Lynn Schonbraun recently pledged $5 million to support the planned Cooperman Family Pavilion with an accompanying parking garage.

“Three generations of the Schonbraun Family have considered SBMC in Livingston their healthcare destination,” a hospital news release stated. “Their strong ties to the hospital have inspired them to actively take part in its continued success and growth by providing both financial support and personal involvement.”

According to the hospital, Bruce Schonbraun is an “entrepreneur and dealmaker” who has spent his career as a “go-to advisor” to the area’s real estate industry. He has been an advisor on more than 25 national/international real estate transactions that aggregately total over $30 billion over the course of his career. Schonbraun also recently accepted the role of chairman of the SBMC Expansion Oversight Committee, which provides the real estate development and financial oversight over this major expansion project, and is a trustee of SBMC.
