St. Barnabas Hospital Earns ‘Excellence Award’
The award recognizes applicants from diverse industries that demonstrate "superior levels of performance excellence."
LIVINGSTON, NJ — Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, a RWJBarnabas Health facility, was recently selected to receive the “Excellence Award,” the highest-level recognition bestowed by the Mid-Atlantic Alliance for Performance Excellence (MAAPE).
According to a news release from the hospital, MAAPE’s Excellence Award recognizes applicants from diverse industries that demonstrate “superior levels of performance excellence” through practices and results.
The award will be presented at MAAPE's 12th Annual Awards Banquet & Conference to be held November at the Desmond Hotel in Malvern, PA.

St. Barnabas also recently nabbed a thumbs-up from the Leapfrog Group, which recently gave the medical center an “A” grade in its bi-annual rankings.
