For National Nutrition Month, Livingston students face their fears over all things green.

For the month of March, students are overcoming their fears of things that are green – as in broccoli, collards and kale.
The Nutrition Fear Factor at Riker Hill was among the ways schools in Livingston are encouraging students to eat healthy foods. The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics has named March National Nutrition Month. According to the group's site, we all should spend the days of March "making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits."

Around Livingston Public Schools, students have become fearless veggie testers. You see them eating Brussels sprouts, going undercover for healthy foods as Supermarket Spies. At appetizing assemblies, there are Nutrition Magicians who might just do the trick to encourage the students to continue trying new things, and contests for the Biggest Improver.
