Three Unlocked Cars Burglarized In 1 Day In Livingston

The thieves in Livingston only managed to make off with a briefcase and pairs of sunglasses, police said.

LIViNGSTON, NJ — The Livingston police said Wednesday that burglars struck three different cars on the last day in June.

But all that was stolen were a briefcase, several pairs of sunglasses, and tennis items.

The burglaries were as follows:

  • Cobblewood Road: A 2016 Ford Mustang was entered and a briefcase was stolen.
  • Elkin Drive: A 2016 BMW 535 was entered and a couple pairs of sunglasses and tennis bag containing tennis rackets and supplies were stolen.
  • Sykes Avenue: A 2019 Mazda CX3 was entered and a pair of sunglasses were stolen.

All vehicles had been left unlocked, police said.

Police are investigating.
