To Market, To Market to Find Some Fresh Buys

Thursday is market day in Livingston for farmer's produce.

Dr. Pickle has a cure for you? Sounds like a line to us, but the pickles look good. In fact, lots of things looked good at Now if you are a dog (the four-legged kind), you might want to check out the homemade organic dog treats from "The Yellow Dog Bakery." We weren't in the mood, but we did try the corn and jalapeno muffin at "Gina's Bakery" and we are glad we did.

Proprieters like Jerrilyn Coulter were happy to talk about their products, in this case, their  "Savory Cheesecakes." Fresh fruits and vegetables were also on hand, as you would expect.

Beth Lippman from the Business Improvement District noted that the new site was an improvement from the last, as there is much more available parking.
