Saturday on the Court: Top Volleyball Seniors to Play One Last Time at LHS
Lancers' Gao, Lee, Cheng Lead All-Star Teams
The very best volleyball players in the state of New Jersey will come together at Livingston High School on Saturday and three are from the Lancers' squad.
Amy Gao, Michelle Lee and Connie Cheng, the Lancers' co-captains, battled in the green and white and helped Livingston to a Group 4 North state title along with being one of the top teams in the Super Essex Conference.
The trio will get to play on their home floor for one more time on Saturday (2:30 p.m.) at the Fitness and Wellness Center as part of the annual Senior Girl's Volleyball All-Star game, an event that features the top 48 seniors in New Jersey.

Al Parteloy, the long-time head coach of Livingston, said that this is the second straight year that the North Jersey Scholastic Coaches Association (NJSCA) has picked the Lancers home for the all-star game.
The three players helped the Lancers have another big year with a 21-5 record. Livingston defeated Ridgewood, 2-1, for the sectional title only to lose to Williamstown.

Four teams get to play volleyball for their high school as part of the all-star game with the Red, Blue, White and Gold teams.
The Livingston players get to play against each other. Gao, an opposite hitter, is on the Blue team, while Lee, a setter, is part of the White team and Cheng, the libero, joined the Gold team.
