ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Weather forecasters say North Jersey will be in the path of Subtropical Storm Nicole this weekend. While the storm will likely lose strength over land, forecasts call for up to 1.75 inches of rain Friday into the overnight.

Saturday: Rain likely, mainly before 10 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 67. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
