Subtropical Storm Nicole Predicted To Bring Heavy Rain To Essex County: See When

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Weather forecasters say North Jersey will be in the path of Subtropical Storm Nicole this weekend. While the storm will likely lose strength over land, forecasts call for up to 1.75 inches of rain Friday into the overnight.

The NWS Predicts, For Essex County:

Friday: Rain likely, mainly after 1 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 68. Light east wind becoming southeast 6 to 11 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Friday Night: Rain. The rain could be heavy at times. Steady temperature around 66. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Saturday: Rain likely, mainly before 10 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 67. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
