Two Cars Stolen From Parking Lots Of Livingston Businesses, 1 From Home
Cars were stolen from the parking lots of a hotel and a restaurant in Livingston last week, as well as a home. Two were recovered.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston police responded to two businesses last weekend after cars were stolen from their parking lots.
This past Sunday, the Livingston police responded to Viva Guacamole at 499 South Livingston Ave. on a report of a stolen vehicle from the parking lot. The owner of 2022 Range Rover Evoque was stolen. It is believed that the vehicle was left unlocked with the key fob inside, police said.
The vehicle was recovered the next day in Belleville. The Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating.

The day before, at 3:23 p.m., Livingston officers responded to the Westminster Hotel on a report of a stolen 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee from the parking lot, belonging to a guest of the hotel. The case is being investigated by the Livingston Detective Bureau.
On June 14, at 7:43 a.m., Livingston officers responded to a Kimball Avenue residence on a report of a stolen 2019 Ford Mustang, they said. It was discovered that sometime in the overnight hours the vehicle was stolen from the driveway, police said. The vehicle was left unlocked with the key fob believed to be inside.

The vehicle was recovered in East Orange the same morning. Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating.
