Two Home Burglaries Reported In Livingston In Last Week Of 2022

Two homes in Livingston were broken into and ransacked during the last week of December 2022, police said.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston police said that they responded to two home burglaries during the last week of 2022. Both involved an intruder breaking into the home from a back door.

Police said that on Wednesday, Dec. 28, they responded to a burglary alarm on Aspen Drive at 6:54 p.m.

When they arrived at the residence, they found both the slider door and one rear window smashed, they said.

The interior of the home was ransacked, police said.

The homeowners were notified and are compiling a list of the stolen items, police said. The Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating.

Then, on Friday, Dec. 30, police got a call about a burglarly around 10:32 p.m.

Police responded to Brookside Avenue. The homeowners told police they had found the rear door to the residence kicked in and multiple rooms ransacked.

The homeowners are compiling a list of stolen items, police said. The Livingston Detective Bureau is investigating.
