Two Livingston Homes Burglarized, 1 BMW Stolen: Police
Two homes were burglarized in Livingston in the past week, police said, and one burglary led to a car theft.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — During a Livingston home burglary on Monday morning, a thief made off with the homeowner's car keys and took their BMW, police said.
That break-in was one of two home burglaries reported in Livingston in the past week, police said.
Police said that at 3 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 6, they responded to a home on Elmwood Drive. The homeowner said that someone had broken in through a rear window and stole their car keys and wallet.

The burglar then drove away with the BMW X5, the homeowner said. Police are investigating.
The previous week, on Tuesday, Jan. 31, police responded to a different home burglary.

At that time, the headed to a Brown Court residence around 9:39 p.m. The homeowner said the rear door had been smashed and the house was ransacked.
The homeowner is compiling a list of stolen items for police.
