Two Players Earn Ray Schleien Sportsmanship Award
Livingston National Little League give out annual award.
Prior to the start of the crosstown Little League World Series between the Giants of the National League and the the Athletics from the American League for town baseball bragging rights, two special players were to recognized.
Every year, the Ray Schleien Award is presented to a graduating 12 year-old player who has shown dedication, commitment and sportsmanship throughout his Little League career with the Livingston National Little League. This year the judges had a dificult choice between two very deserving candidates. So for the first time, it was decided that both players would be honored.
Ross Coleman and Andrew Keenan were the 2012 receipients of the coveted Ray Schleien Sportsmanship Award and following the presentation, both were asked to throw out the cerimonial first pitch to start the game.
