Uncontested Local Primary

Scores of local primaries are taking place across the state.  But in Livingston, while the polls are open, the local races are going uncontested.

Deborah Shapiro, Dr. Michael Rieber and Oliver Shapiro are on the ballot as Republicans for the three seats that will open on the Livingston Township Council in November.

Incumbents Buddy August, Arlene Johnson and Rudy Fernandez are seeking re-election on the Democratic slate.

In November, voters will chose which candidates to elect to the 4-year council seat.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m..
