There are 110 more students enrolled in Livingston Public Schools for the 2010-2011 academic year than last year, according to Superintendent Dr. Brad Draeger.
At Monday's Board of Education meeting, he announced that the district has seen a slight increase in enrollment as the first week of the school year ended last week.
"We had some students come in August that are from rentals," said Draeger about a burst in students. Enrollment now stands at 5,838, up from 5,728 last year. In the 2009-2010 school year, there was an increase of 41 students over the previous year.
