A Visit by Livingston Firefighters to B’nai Abraham’s Early School
Livingston Assistant Fire Chief Kevin Francione and Livingston Firefighter Tracey Bent shared the annual safety message with ES students.

During Annual Fire Prevention month, which takes place during the entire month of October, Township of Livingston Fire Department members visited The Early School (ES) of Temple B’nai Abraham with a fire truck and gear. Livingston Assistant Fire Chief Kevin Francione and Livingston Firefighter Tracey Bent shared the annual safety message, as well as showed the students a firefighter in special fire-fighting gear. Particularly exciting for the students was when Livingston Firefighter Tracey Bent who is Temple B’nai Abraham’s facility manager, drove up in Engine #3. Becoming comfortable with what a firefighter looks like in full gear is just one of the lessons. The Assistant Chief Francione led the fire prevention discussion and demonstration for the children, and Firefighter Tracey dressed in firefighter gear and equipment. The goal is to familiarize children with firefighters before an emergency situation.
