Walk to support individuals with autism in Verona Park

The Children's Institute to Host A Walk for a Lifetime May 3 in Verona Park

VERONA and LIVINGSTON (March, 2015) –Lace up your sneakers and register for The Children’s institute’s Walk For a Lifetime May 3 at Verona Park.

Walkers of all ages will form teams and walk around the scenic Verona Park to benefit children and adults on the autism spectrum.

The Children’s Institute’s annual Walk For a Lifetime benefits the school, which serves preschool children to adults on the autism spectrum at its locations in Verona and Livingston. In addition, it benefits TCI’s Center for Independence in Livingston, for adults on the spectrum. To register or donate, please visit www.tcischool.org/walk.

The school hopes to raise $150,000 and host about 1,000 participants at this event. The event begins with registration on May 3 from 10-11:45 a.m. and then the walk begins promptly at noon. Families can also enjoy fun and refreshments.

Please register to walk or donate and make a difference. There are different levels of corporate sponsorships available at the walkathon.
