LIVINGSTON, NJ -- The Livingston Health Department will offer a free “Walking Club” this winter for residents who want to stay fit despite the cold weather.
According to a municipal news release, the club kicked off Feb. 14 and will run until March 27. It meets from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Fridays, and is free and open to adults over the age of 18.
Participants will meet inside the Livingston Mall in front of the entrance to Lord + Taylor on the second floor and walk together for one hour around the second level of the mall. Each circular lap around the second level is about 0.25 miles, and participants can walk at their own pace.
