“The Warter Strong Foundation first began as a ‘movement’... a call to action as our community came together for a Bone Marrow Drive to help Oren Warter, my late husband battle Leukemia. “The phrase ‘Warter Strong’ became synonymous with strength and courage and charity... through the ups and downs of life. In May 2018, we lost our oldest son Ryan to an acute medical complication and our dedication to our roots grew deeper. Finally, in July 2018, the Warter Strong Foundation became an official 501 (3)(c) tax deductible charity.

“Our mission is to empower people to ‘do happy.’ Often times people look at happiness as a choice... encouraging others and themselves to ‘be’ happy or ‘feel’ happy or ‘chose’ happy. But when faced with life's challenges it isn't always easy to do that. But the mission of Warter Strong… our campaign behind our fundraising efforts is to support like-minded charities committed to helping people ‘do happy’ everyday.

“Our first Golf & Tennis Outing is a dream come true for our children. Oren was a golf member at Cedar Hill Country Club and loved nothing more than getting out for a round with friends... and watching his boys learn the game. And Ryan loved a good party!

“100% of the profits from your support will go right back to the charities we support and to new opportunities growing... Gift of Life, Lifetown, Sharing Seats, The Sharing Network... to help them continue their efforts and support individuals in need by adding small moments of ‘happy’ to their days.”
