The Livingston Public School District opened its doors to about 6,000 students on Tuesday, kicking off the 2016-17 school year with smiles, grimaces and many, many handshakes.

The first-day-back flurry in Livingston was also documented by LHS senior Sean Risch, who interviewed fellow students and created a video as a celebration of the teaching profession for teachers and staff on their opening day.
