Water Main Repairs In Livingston May Cause Discoloration, Traffic

In addition to water interruptions and/or discolored water, residents in the area may see traffic delays, Livingston town officials said.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Water main repairs in Livingston may cause discoloration for some local residents on Wednesday, officials said.

The township released the following advisory about the repairs:

“Scheduled Water Main Repairs on Woodcrest Drive. Possible water interruptions or discolored water. Expect traffic delays on Woodcrest Drive from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please plan an alternative route. If you see any air or discoloration in your water, run the cold water faucet at the sink closest to your water meter until the water is clear.”

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding,” town officials added.
