LIVINGSTON, NJ — Scheduled water main repair work on East Cedar Street in Livingston on Wednesday may cause a disruption in water service and cause traffic delays on six streets, officials said.

Residents of streets near East Cedar Street also may see discolored water that day, officials said.

"If you see any air or discoloration in your water, run the cold water faucet at the sink closest to your water meter until the water is clear," the town advised.

There may also be traffic delays on East Cedar Street, Trafalgar Drive, Sycamore Avenue, Rale Terrace, Whittier Way, and Westmount Drive, town officials said.

"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," the town said in a message.
