West Essex YMCA launches six-week campaign offering free signups for new members starting Dec. 18
The "Start Your Someday Today" campaign kicks off today, Dec. 18; Offerings for winter sessions announced

The West Essex YMCA is offering area residents the kick-start they need to make fitness, wellbeing and healthy connections part of their lives by waiving the joiner fee new members.
During the “Start Your Someday Today’’ campaign, anyone who signs up for an individual, senior or family membership between today, Dec. 18, and Jan. 31, 2015 pays no joiner fee.
The West Essex Y, serving Livingston, West Orange, Roseland, the Caldwells and surrounding communities, provides affordable opportunities for people of all ages to find their groove through its array of classes, programs and events.

During the winter session starting Jan. 5, children can take a sports sampler class, learn to dance and join the basketball league. Toddlers get in on the fun with their own play group that introduces them to preschool while teens can take join the leadership club and learn tennis.
Parents can take advantage of childcare while they work out in the state-of-the-art weight room, take one of many classes including Spin®, yoga, and Aqua-Fitness, or attend a healthy living workshop on topics likes nutrition and diabetes. They can claim a few hours to themselves while their kids enjoy Friday Fun nights.

Seniors may enjoy the Y’s many exercise programs geared to them, including Gentle Fitness and Keep on Movin’. All members can sign up for a free fitness evaluation.
