West Essex YMCA Prepares Gardens For Winter With East Hanover Business

The West Essex YMCA recently prepared its vegetable gardens for the coming frost and got a little help an East Hanover business.
Jersey Cares, which connects corporations and charitable organizations, sent more than 20 employees of Mondelez International — headquartered in East Hanover — to the West Essex YMCA on Oct. 30 to assist the Y staff in staining their rear property fences and preparing the raised-bed vegetable gardens for winter.

“What a wonderful group of caring people ” said Cheryl Francione, West Essex YMCA associate executive director.
