West Orange Resident Accused Of Stealing Wallet At Livingston Store
Livingston police arrested a teen from West Orange after she allegedly stole a wallet at a local business and used the credit cards.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston police arrested a teen from West Orange after she allegedly stole a wallet at a local business and used the credit cards, authorities said Tuesday.
According to the Livingston Police Department, officers responded to the UPS store at 184 Livingston Avenue at 10:40 a.m. on Sept. 26 after getting a report about a stolen wallet.
The victim told officers that she left her wallet on a table and later saw it was missing. Surveillance footage confirmed that the wallet was stolen from the table, authorities said.

Police identified the suspect as a 19-year-old West Orange resident and arrested her. She was charged with theft of movable property in connection with the Sept. 26 incident.
The Livingston Detective Bureau conducted a follow-up investigation and determined that the suspect used the victim’s credit cards on three separate occasions. Police also charged her with three counts of use of a stolen credit card.
