What's Happening In Ukraine? Essex County Temple Hosts A Talk
Both the CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest and a local volunteer who returned from Poland will give updates on the Ukraine.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Now that the Russian invasion of the Ukraine is in its second month, Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston is hosting an event this Wednesday in which both the CEO of the Jewish Federation in North Jersey, and a recent volunteer in Poland, will give updates.
The temple is hosting the virtual forum with two speakers: Dov Ben Shimon, executive VP and CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest, and past temple president Steve Montag, who recently volunteered in Poland to help Ukrainian refugees.
The virtual talk, scheduled for 8 p.m. Wednesday, is called, "An Update on the Crisis in Ukraine."
