What's New with Medicare in 2018

Wednesday, November 1st the State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) will present Medicare 101 & What’s New in 2018. Decipher the alphabet soup of Medicare. Part A, B , D. Plan F. What do all these letters mean? Which Medicare Advantage and Part D plans are leaving Essex County? What are my rights if my Advantage Plan is leaving? How are premiums and co-pays changing? How can I get the best coverage for the best price? To find out come the presentation at the Livingston Senior Center 204 Hillside November 1st at 12 noon.
SHIP is a statewide program administered by the New Jersey Department of Human Services with financial assistance through a grant from the U.S. Administration for Community Living. Volunteer counselors, trained in areas of health insurance coverage and benefits that affect Medicare beneficiaries, provide information and assistance for dealing with claims and in evaluating health insurance options. They can provide information on all the 2018 Medicare Advantage Plans available in Essex and help individuals choose a Part D Prescription Plan for 20198.
