Wide Array of Cuisines and Libations Available at 4th Annual Uncorked & Uncapped: Wine, Beer, and Food Fest

The Arc of Essex County will host its fourth annual Uncorked & Uncapped: Wine, Beer, and Food Fest on Thursday, September 28 at the Westminster Hotel in Livingston, NJ. The event will feature a fun-filled evening of fine wine, craft beer, spirits, cocktails, and restaurant samplings, as well as a silent auction, 50/50, and awards program. All proceeds will benefit The Arc’s programs and services that help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families.

More than 100 samplings including Ethiopian, Mediterranean, and American favorites will be provided by nearly 40 prestigious establishments throughout the northeast. New names like Glazed and Confused, Ironbound Hard Cider, Tommyrotter Distillery, and Stone Water at 3 Peaks Marina – who was listed as one of NJ.com’s hottest places to eat in August – have been added to the event line up along with tastings from Mcloone’s Boathouse, Piattino, and The Office that are certain to get mouths watering.

Participating vendors include Aidil Wines and Liquors, A-List Wines, Chef Jesse Jones Cuisine Catering, Claremont Distillery, Das’ Creamery, Eight Hills Caterers, Fedway, Flying Fish Brewing Company, Frutta Bowls, Glazed and Confused – Fresh Mini Donuts, Ironbound Hard Cider, Jersey Girl Brewing Company, Jersey Spirits Distilling Company, Jimmy John’s Gourmet Subs, Magnify Brewing, Mcloone’s Boathouse, Nero’s Grille, Nicastro’s, Nourished Meal Prep, The Office Tavern Grill, Paragon Tap & Table, Philly Pretzel Factory, Piattino, Sixpoint Brewery, Stone Water at Three Peaks Marina, Tommyrotter Distillery, Twelve Islands Greek Taverna, Verona Inn, Walia Ethiopian Restaurant, Wegmans, Westminster Steakhouse, Weyerbacher, Winebow, Whole Foods, and Yards.

Honoring the partnerships that have been integral to the agency’s success, The Arc of Essex County will present the following awards:

The evening will conclude with a 50/50 and silent auction. During the silent auction, event attendees can bid on romantic getaways to destinations in New York and New Jersey, a family escape to Great Wolf Lodge, and tickets to professional sporting events and Broadways shows, to name a few.
