Winning Lottery Ticket Worth $663K Sold In Caldwell

Two winning tickets, one in Essex County and one in Somerset County, split a $1.3M Jersey Cash 5 jackpot Saturday.

CALDWELL, NJ — Two lucky New Jersey lottery tickets matched all five numbers drawn on Saturday, splitting the $1,325,988 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot. One of the tickets, sold at Shoppers Express in Caldwell, earned the winner $662,994.

The other ticket, sold in Somerville, was worth the same.

The winning numbers were: 05, 17, 32, 34, and 44 and the XTRA number was: 04. The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold.

Shoppers Express is located on Roseland Avenue.

Meanwhile, the Mega Millions drawing on Friday, April 29, produced 19 players that matched four of the five white balls drawn, making each ticket worth $500. Two of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $1,000. Moreover, 22,405 other New Jersey players took home $87,146 in prizes ranging from $2 to $400.

The winning numbers for the Friday, April 29, drawing were: 09, 11, 34, 49, and 66. The Gold Mega Ball was 15, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 02.
