• Long Beach Township Police Strike Back Against Crosswalk Violators In Surprise Safety Enforcement Detail (tapinto.net) — Drivers in Long Beach Township should be on high alert: undercover “Cops in the Crosswalk” operations just led to 38 traffic stops and one arrest in a four-hour blitz targeting motorists who ignore pedestrians on Long Beach Boulevard and other busy corridors. Police say the surprise details will complement daily patrols as they respond to growing safety concerns across Long Beach Island. 
• Little Jam Band, ‘Emotion Ocean' Help Kids ‘Tune in, Take Charge' (thesandpaper.net) — Families on Long Beach Island can join Cassidy Csaszar’s wildly popular Little Jam Band music sessions, now capped at 15 families and often selling out between the beach and the bay in Long Beach Township. From a vintage seller who grew up summering on LBI to a Ship Bottom-based skincare maker and Harvey Cedars beekeeper, vendors are using the bayside huts to see if their ideas can grow into permanent Island fixtures.
