Affordable Housing Alliance to Celebrate Neighborworks Week 2016

Join the Affordable Housing Alliance to volunteer on June 10th as we celebrate NeighborWorks Week 2016.

Every year during NeighborWorks Week, NeighborWorks America and its network of local organizations mobilize tens of thousands of volunteers, business people, neighbors, friends, and local and national elected and civic leaders in a week of neighborhood change and awareness. With the theme of NeighborWorks Week 2016 being “Creating Opportunity”, AHA instantly knew how we would celebrate.

To achieve our goal this year, the Alliance staff and volunteers will be landscaping the property of our latest project, The Allen House Senior Complex, a ten unit housing complex for low to moderate income seniors. Being that this property is new to the community, AHA believes this event will create opportunity for all of the members of the community to get acquainted with their neighbors by interacting over an event filled with positivity, team work, and fun! Most importantly this event will serve as a welcome home to those who are new  to the community.

The Affordable Housing Alliance would be more than happy to have any additional individual, community organization, or business’ help volunteer for this special event. If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering, feel free to give us a call at (732)-389-2958.
