Are You Ready for Some Football? Homecoming and Pop Warner Games this Weekend

Are you ready some football? With the MRSH Homecoming game and three Pop Warner division championships this weekend, there's plenty to choose from. Here's the scoop:

MRHS Homecoming Game: Friday at 6:30 p.m. vs. Long Branch

The Falcons are playing under the lights so bundle up for the big game and don't miss the Homecoming Court and of course, who's crowned king and queen.

Flapjacks at Applebee's: Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Falcons Varsity football players and cheerleaders will take overon Hope Road from 8-10 a.m. and serve flapjacks to the community. Tickets for the fundraiser are $10 and can be purchased at the door.

Pop Warner Division Championships: Saturday at Rumson-Fair Haven High School

Falcons football head coach Jason Morrell and team, along with head varsity cheer coach Meredith McGee and her cheer squad, will be rooting on three little Falcons teams as they vie for division championships.

• Game One: Monmouth Falcons vs. Freehold Giants. 4:30 p.m. Pee Wee Division. Division Three Title. Head Coach Nicholas DeFilippis, Sr.
• Game Two: Rumson Bulldogs vs. Monmouth Falcons. 6:30 p.m. Pee Wee Football. Division Three Title. Head Coach Anthony Guarino, Sr.
• Game Three: Monmouth Falcons vs. Manasquan/St. Cecilia. 8:30 p.m. Division Three Title. Head Coach Ronald Palmieri.

MRHS Homecoming Dance: Monmouth Regional High School 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

According to the school's Web site: This is a semi-formal dance- NO JEANS! NO SNEAKERS!  Tickets will be on sale in room 518 before and after school 10/24-10/28 cost of a ticket is $10.  NO TICKETS SOLD AT THE DOOR!

Rumson/Fair Haven - Games: Rumson-Fair Haven High School; Practices: Piping Rock Park GSP (N)/(S) Exit 109 Northbound exiters keep to the left, and go to the traffic light. Southbound exiters turn left onto Monmouth County Route 520 East (Newman Springs Road) and stay to the immediate right under the GSP overpass. Take the Half-Mile Road, turn-off. All Exiters, at the light, cross over Newman Springs Road, onto Half-Mile Road, and go to the end. Turn right on West Front Street, and continue on Front Street (West River Road) through Red Bank, Fair Haven, and into Rumson. Go to Bingham Avenue, and turn right, and continue to Ridge Road High School will be on the left. To get to Piping Rock Park, continue 1 block past the High School to Forest Avenue.
