Starting Monday: Oakwood Avenue to Close for Construction in Long Branch (tapinto.net) β Starting Monday, Sept. 14, drivers in Long Branch should expect weekday closures and detours on Oakwood Avenue between Wall Street and Broadway as construction gets underway. Work will run 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for several weeks, and the city's Department of Public Safety urges motorists to follow posted detours, allow extra travel time, and consider alternate routes.
