It's official: as Tinton Falls kids slip on backpacks and climb on the bus Thursday morning, the door has officially closed on summer vacation for most students in the area.

Are you like me and feel the need to document the new sneakers and freshly trimmed hair with an impromptu photo shoot? The teenagers might cringe and getting the little ones posed is like herding cats, but it's always fun to look back at the end of the year to see how the kids have grown.
