Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center Appoints Mary Jane Maser, Ph.D. Clinical Director of Stepping Stones

Mary Jane Maser, Ph.D. was recently appointed Clinical Director of Stepping Stones Intensive Outpatient Program at Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center.

As Clinical Director, Dr. Maser will oversee the daily clinical functions of Stepping Stones, including identifying and treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders such as anxiety, depression, grief and panic disorders. She will also perform psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic work-ups, follow-up assessments and medication management and stabilization. Working in conjunction with the interdisciplinary treatment team, Dr. Maser will establish a personalized plan of care for patients.

A board-certified Clinical Specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health, Dr. Maser has owned and operated a private psychotherapy practice for more than 28 years, specializing in medication evaluation and management, substance use evaluation and counseling. She previously served as an adjunct professor for Monmouth University’s Counseling Psychology Department.
Dr. Maser earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Seton Hall University. She earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Yale University and her Master’s degree in Mental Health Nursing at Yale University. She resides in Rumson, NJ.
