Photo Gallery: Tinton Falls Swears-In Emergency Services Officers for 2012
Tinton Falls Municipal Center served as the backdrop for the swearing-in of officers of emergency services on New Year's Day.
They volunteer to protect and serve their neighbors and on New Year's Day, the held a ceremony to induct emergency services officers for 2012.
This year the ceremony was hosted by the , President Robert Boub welcomed the audience, which included the officers, their family and friends. The invocation was performed by member Ruben Moreno and , who thanked all of the officers for their service and dedication to the borough. The mayor reminded the audience that 2011 proved to be a challenging year with a blizzard, a hurricane and an earthquake.
The ceremony was put on a short hiatus while Wayside and companies went out on a call. With a short break, family and friends took the opportunity to take pictures of the newly sworn- in officers. When the companies returned the ceremony continued with the final swearing in.

The ceremony concluded with a sparkling cider toast done by Chief Howie Chervinsky who wished all present, “A happy and safe new year”.
