Circle BMW to Display BMW i3 at GreenFaith Fair

-Red Bank United Methodist Church to Host Living Green Event-

Eatontown, N.J. (April 15, 2016) - Circle BMW, the region’s only independently owned and operated BMW dealership, will display a BMW i3 at the GreenFaith Fair on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Red Bank United Methodist Church, (UMC Red Bank) 247 Broad Street, Red Bank, New Jersey.

Electric cars and alternative transportation is one of a variety of displays and topics that will be featured at the GreenFaith Fair. BMW is one of the leading manufacturers that is out front with its offering of electric models that combine performance, inspiring design, innovation and efficiency. The unique carbon fiber construction of the BMW i3 makes it different from any other vehicle on the road. From its aerodynamic exterior to its innovative interior, the materials used to build the BMW i vehicles are selected for beauty and a commitment to sustainability.

Other environmentally friendly topics on display will include: safe water, hydrofracking, gardening, composting and home gardens, canning your garden produce, green cleaning, seeds-to-plant (carbon sinks), milkweed seeds for monarch butterflies, green with solar, tracing your recyclables, green snacks, healthy smoothies, and much more.

UMC Red Bank received its certification as a Green Faith congregation on November 18, 2012. The church is the first United Methodist Church to receive certification. Green Faith certification is designed to help houses of worship from diverse traditions become religious-environmental leaders. The Green Faith certification is the world's first comprehensive interfaith, environmental certification program. Over two years, participating institutions carry out a range of initiatives to integrate environmental themes into worship, religious education, facility maintenance, and social outreach with the goal of becoming a Green Faith sanctuary.
