Circle BMW Makes Donation to The Captain James M. Gurbisz Foundation

EATONTOWN, N.J. (July 6, 2016) – Circle BMW’s Vice President and General Counsel, Thomas J. DeFelice, III, (pictured right) presented Helen and Ken Gurbisz of Eatontown with a donation to benefit The Captain James M. Gurbisz Foundation. The goal of the Foundation is to work with at-risk children in middle school and provide opportunities that allow them to reach their potential. In conjunction with Summer Program for Eatontown Area Kids (SPEAK), the Foundation sponsors kayaking at Sandy Hook, trips to Hurricane Harbor at Great Adventure, Lakewood Blue Claws games an annual trip to a West Point football game and provides scholarships to sports and adventure camps.

Mr. and Mrs. Gurbisz established the Foundation in memory of their son, James, who was killed by a roadside bomb while serving his country in Iraq on November 4, 2005. James was a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and Monmouth Regional High School. For more information or to make a donation to The Captain James M.
