Chef Joe Romanowski Demonstrates his Talent at Mumfords

A Night of Talent

Joe Romanowski is one of the most talented chefs in the area. His restaurant, Bay Ave Trattoria in Highlands is one of the most popular restaurants in Monmouth County. He comes to Mumford's Culinary Center once a year to display his talent in our classroom. Joe begins with a Roasted Root Vegetable Salad with Parmagiano Sformato and Mache, dressed with creamy lemon vinaigrette. Next, Joe turns us on to some homemade pasta consisting of Herb Flecked Ricotta Gnocchi tossed with gorgonzola, speck and radicchio. As Joe goes through his trials and tribulations of the restaurant business, he is preparing his entrée that consists of Tagliata Bisteca Roasted Prime New York Sirloin served with Foraged mushrooms and Fennel Potato Gratin. Lastly, he finishes out the night with a dessert that consists of Scrattchiatelli Chocolate Bread Pudding with Kahlua Anglaise and Vanilla Gelato. So come and see real talent up close!
