At an MVC sceneFire Department use the "Jaws of Life" tool to free injured people from being trapped in an car/truck.
Once the patient is removed, FD then turns patient care over to EMS who will show how to secure injured persons with possible neck & back injuries using C-Collars, backboard, head blocks and straps. at which point they will be loaded in an ambulance and transported to nearest hospital.
All within the "Golden Hour"
