Learn the importance of heart disease prevention, the effects of high cholesterol and blood pressure on heart disease and lifestyle changes you can make for cardiovascular health. This program is led by Mary Mahoney, RN, Certified HealthEASE Instructor, Monmouth Medical Center. This program will be offered to adults age 50 and over at the SCAN Learning Center, located at Routes 35 &amp; 36, Monmouth Mall, in Eatontown. Registration is required by calling 732-542-1326. This fresh, experimental comedy night invites audiences into a world where performers push boundaries, test new ideas, and embrace the hilariously unhinged.&nbsp;
Guests will enjoy the show in cocktail-style seating, creating an intimate, club-like atmosphere. Snacks will be available for purchase, and the casual, lounge vibe offers a perfect night out for adults looking to unwind, laugh, and escape the ordinary.&nbsp;

The Atlantic Highlands Yacht Club (AHYC) invites the community to experience the thrill of sailing with its Adult Sailing Lessons and Youth Keelboat Sailing Program, offering hands-on instruction, teamwork, and unforgettable time on the water in Atlantic Highlands Harbor and Sandy Hook Bay.
<h3>Adult Sailing Lessons Now Open</h3>
Designed for beginners and those looking to build confidence on the water, AHYC’s Adult Sailing Program provides a comprehensive introduction to sailing led by U.S. Sailing-certified instructors.
Participants begin with on-land instruction, learning the fundamentals of sailing and hands-on rigging of the Flying Scot, a stable and comfortable 19-foot sailboat ideal for both leisure and racing. As skills develop, sailors may also have the opportunity to sail larger vessels, including a BluSail 24’ and a Peterson 34’.
<h3>Youth Keelboat Sailing Program Builds Skills and Confidence</h3>
<a href="https://www.regattanetwork.com/clubmgmt/applet_registration_form.php?regatta_id=31110" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">AHYC’s Keelboat Youth Sailing Program,</a> June 8 - August 10, 2026,&nbsp;offers a dynamic summer-long experience for young sailors ages 12–18, combining sailing instruction with leadership development and competitive racing.
Participants will:
<ul><li>Learn to operate and sail a keelboat as part of a team</li><li>Build navigation, communication, and teamwork skills</li><li>Compete in local regattas and races, often alongside adult crews</li><li>Gain experience managing a vessel with guidance from qualified chaperones</li></ul>
While safety is always prioritized, students take an active leadership role on the boats, developing independence and confidence on the water.
