Monmouth Medical Center Offers Diabetes Awareness Information

Millions of people in the U.S. have diabetes – many of them don’t even know that they have the disease.  Although diabetes is a serious health problem, with proper care, it can be managed. Instructor Autumn Dempsey, RN, CDE will teach you how to recognize the signs and symptoms of diabetes and the important role that diet plays in controlling this disease. Offered to people age 60 and over, this program will be held at the Howell Senior Center located at 251 Preventorium Rd. Registration is required by calling 732-938-4500, Ext. 2554. Free.
