Frank Talk Art Bisro and Books will host a panel discussion on autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The discussion will be follewed by a book signing with author Rasheedah Saleem-Muhammad whos bood "Pedro Visits the Aquarium" forcuses on an issue that is affecting many families.
Joining Saleem-Muhammad on the panel will be Valerie Trower a public health advisor for the state Department of Health and Human Services. Trower also has an autistic son.
Rounding out the panel will be Safiyyah A. Muhammad, who serves as a Consumer Advisory Council member of the Elizabeth M. Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities, UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick. Mother of 5 including a 12 year old autistic child.
