Gone Fishing: Eatontown Hosts Kids' Derby June 4

Youth Fishing Derby, Saturday, June 4, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. -- This old-fashioned morning of fishing fun will take place at Wampum Park Pond and is only open to children 15 years old and younger. Award ceremony begins promptly at 10 a.m. and prizes will be given out for the most fish caught, biggest fish and most unique fish and there will be raffle prizes as well. Participants are responsible for supplying their own fishing poles and tackle. Organizers are still looking for sponsors and volunteers and those interested can send an e-mail here.
