Happy Monday, April 18

1. Yeah, that's right. It's Monday on spring break and we're still here in Monmouth County. That's ok. We're not mad. In fact, there's a 20 percent chance that it's going to rain this afternoon, and we're psyched, because April showers bring May flowers.   So you can keep your Cabo/Miami/Carribean sunburn. 

2. You know what you did. And we know why. Take a break from your problems today and find out just why those baseball players and movie stars are always flushing their fabulous lives down the toilet. At 2 p.m. join the folks at the Wellness Community of the Jersey Shore  in Eatontown for a documdrama that sheds light on why they (and we, too) do those dumb things.

3. Oh, go jump in the pool. Do yourself a favor and book with Dosil's in Middletown today, for a swim tomorrow. Twelve bucks will buy you a two hour swim in their heated, lifeguarded pool and, bonus, it might push the kids into a nice, long afternoon nap. Yee-ha!

 4. Shots all around. Is it true that if you get rabies you have to get painful shots in the gut? We don't want to find out. Instead take advantage of the going on tonight in Monmouth Beach. Don't worry only your pet gets the shot.

5. Break, shmeak. Athletes know there is no such thing as a vacation. And while their classmates might be on spring break ruining their chances at a future presidency, these guys and gals will be bringin' their game today.
