Heat Wave Causes Early School Dismissal in Tinton Falls Thursday
Got a kid in school? He's coming home early due to the heat.
Borough schools are closing early Wednesday and Thursday because of the high temperatures forecasted for today.
According to the district's Web site, all three schools will follow the early dismissal plan due to the excessive heat index.
- Grades 1 through 3 at will be dismissed at 12:30 pm.
- AM kindergarten will be dismissed at 10:30 a.m.
- Grades 4-5 at will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m.
- Grades 6-6 at will be dismissed at 11:52 a.m.
