Long Branch Elks Donate Electric Bike To Police Dept.
The bike was donated by Long Branch Elks, Van Brunt Flowers, Bella's Pizza, Caputo's Bakery, Fanagle the Bagel and other local businesses.

LONG BRANCH, NJ — Long Branch Elks Lodge #742, along with other local organizations, donated an electric bike this week to the Long Branch Police Department.
The police force plans to use the bike to better patrol Long Branch's beachfront.
Jim Gallo, of the Long Branch Elks Lodge #742, organized the donation with the help of many other local organizations and businesses, including Cindy Van Brunt and Frank Noble of Flowers by Van Brunt; Alessandro DiFede, the owner of Bella’s Pizza, 21 A Broadway; Joey Caputo, the owner of Caputo’s Bakery; Scott Attaway, the owner of Fanagle the Bagel and Jim Mack, from Oakhurst VFW.

“Thank you to the Elks and everyone else who came together to make this happen. We look forward to the upcoming beach season and having these bikes help our department on the beachfront,” Long Branch Public Safety Director Dominick Saldida said.
