Long Branch Middles School Drama Club to Perform 'Curtain$'

The Long Branch Middle School Drama Club will hold its production of "Curtain$" on April 13 and 14 at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students for the show which will take place in the Long Branch Middle School George P. Beaver Auditorium.

The play follows the life of Charlie Leach and his wife Cheri Leach in their daunting task of paying back loan shark Tony Tenor and his female thugs. Their plan is to use their honeymoon money as a down payment on an old theatre so they can burn it down and collect the insurance. However, they can't make any money unless they have a show for their new theatre. 

Hilarity ensues after they hire Dr. Demolition to burn the theatre down, and give him the wrong time to do so! The Leaches must then stop Dr. Demolition while they still have their hands full with Tenor's thugs.
